User IDs Portlet

The User IDs Portlet of the of the Heirloom PaaS Dashboard is the way to manage backups for your persistent data volumes (application files and databases) produced to support your production deployed applications running in the cloud. Group administrator users can manage all the backups of the data volumes of all users in your group. Access the dashboard through paas.heirloomcomputing.com > Sign In > Dashboard.  This portlet provides a gateway to finding specific application instances or persistent data volumes (application files and databases) for each group member.

The portlet shows registration information about each user such as their E-Mail address associated with the account.  You can sort the information in the portlet by clicking on a column header.  You can show or hide more information by clicking on the right in a column header and selecting a pull down to "Show Columns."  Right-clicking on a row allows you to display more information about that specific  user:

  • Show Current Instances - Brings up the Instance Portlet for that particular user's running application instances
  • Show Data Volumes - Brings up the Data Volume Portlet containing allocated volumes for that particular user
  • Show History - Displays the History Portlet with information such as time and applications were started or stopped by either that user or you as an administrator acting on their behalf
Click on the links in the upper right hand corner of the portlet to change or refresh the view.
  • icon-minimize.png  minimize the view.  You can drag and drop the view to reposition it on the dashboard
  • icon-refresh.png  refresh the list of users
  • icon-select.png select (2 buttons) either the users ID specific to your Heirloom PaaS or Elastic COBOL login  or your group's if you are a group administrator
  • icon-close.png close this portlet.  You can reopen by right-clicking anywhere on the page and choosing Show Users  from the menu
